Short Bio

Archaically Modern Jewelry Designer with a Casually Elegant Feel.

Statement

After graduating from college I started my journey creating Fine Porcelain Jewelry. Over the years I have owned my own studio shop, participated in National retail and wholesale shows as well as personal commissions to non profits and individuals. After living in Alaska for over three decades I moved to the lower 48 states where I now create and sell my art at shows held in the Southwest  and the Pacific Northwest States.

I started my journey as a professional artisan in 1984 after graduating from college with my second Bachelor of Arts degree. I wanted to create an income creating my art, I taught myself how to work with porcelain. My first kiln was bought with a life insurance policy that my father took out for me when I was an infant. Purchasing the kiln from the proceeds of the matured policy was symbolic in that the money I received from the policy enabled me to live my dream of becoming an artist. My journey has been interesting; Perseverance, hard work, and having a positive attitude are a big part of my life's ethics,
